Dies after falling when trying to take a picture in a castle in Barcelona

A 67-year-old man has died after accidentally falling from a 12-meter wall in Castell de Taradell (Barcelona), while trying to take a photograph.

The victim is the president of the Catalan Wood and Furniture Guild, “a well-known businessman in the municipality and a very active and appreciated person in Taradell,” according to municipal and union sources reported to Europa Press.

Sources from the consistory have stated that “he wanted to take a photograph, he tripped and fell from a castle wall”, and two fire crews of the Generalitat and a medicalized helicopter took him to the scene of the events, which transported him in a very serious condition. to the Parc Taulí hospital in Sabadell (Barcelona), where he died.
