Torreón, Coahuila. – A motorist was stripped of his briefcase in which he had 50 thousand pesos in cash by a subject armed with a pistol who surprised him when he got out of the vehicle outside the “Estafeta” messenger service in the peripheral Raúl López Sánchez.
The assailant fled aboard a gray Spirit-type car in which another individual was waiting for him and they left for Gomez Palacio.
The events occurred outside the courier business located at kilometer 10 and a half of the peripheral, in the Colonia Nueva Laguna Norte.
Municipal police went to that site due to the call for help made by a person who reported the armed robbery.
The victim stated that when he got out of his car, he was surprised by a tall, robust man in blue jeans and threatened him with a gun to strip him of the cherry briefcase in which he carried 50 thousand pesos in cash and two checks, one of them for 300 pesos and the other for 600.
The police officers began the search and notified the authorities in The Durango Lagoon in case they located the criminals’ vehicle.
The police officers told the affected person to go to the Public Ministry agency to report the events.
