For his part, this Thursday afternoon, President Alberto Fernández supervised the arrival of 1,000,000 doses of Sinopharm in Ezeiza aboard Aerolineas Argentinas flight AR1051 from Beijing, which completed the 2,000,000 vaccines received this week by Argentina. With this new shipment, more than 10 million immunizations received in the country were reached on the day.

It was the fourth flight in a week from the Chinese capital, All scheduled through a joint operation between Aerolineas Argentinas and Lufthansa: on Sunday the AR1061 arrived from the national flag line with 384,000 doses and on Monday the AR1051 arrived with another 371,200, while last night it was the turn of the company’s LH8264 German, with 244,800.

The Ministry of Health reported that these 2,000,000 doses are intended to complete the vaccination schedules already started, in accordance with the agreed recommendation of the National Immunization Commission and the Federal Health Council. Of that total, 605,200 began yesterday to be distributed in the jurisdictions of the country, completing the delivery this Friday.
