The National Police have arrested three people in Granada in the framework of an operation against jihadist terrorism ordered by the Central Court of Instruction number 5 of the National Court.

The detainees will go to court in the next few hours, according to research sources.

The arrests were made at dawn on this Marss in two homes located in the northern district of Granada capital, and in them the Special Operations Group (GEO) of the National Police participated, as published this Wednesday by the Ideal newspaper, which reports that the operation has had a second part in a city in the north of the country where arrests have also been made.

Those arrested, who were hiding in Granada although they did not have a residence permit, weren three Arab citizens charged with alleged activity linked to terrorist groups led by ISIS or the self-styled Islamic State.

As part of the searches carried out on Tuesday, agents seized several mobile phones for analysis.

Now for the moment, the investigation remains open but is kept under summary secrecy.
