Of course, shows in halls are still not for tomorrow, but this does not mean that spectators are deprived of entertainment. Several singers have tried online concerts, a practice that has given ideas to actors, comedians … We thus discover a new unprecedented show that should explode the counters.
Laurent Gerra and Eddy Mitchell will perform together, with the participation of Chicandier, for a show entitled On credit and in stereo, in reference to one of the singer’s titles. The two men are linked by a long-standing friendship and share a love of swing, good songs and of course humor. Tired of the inactivity imposed by the pandemic on artists, they decided to meet for the first time in a unique and unprecedented show in live stream. And it is not because the show will be digital that they do not intend to invest in it. On the contrary ! On stage, they provide 9 musicians including 2 pianists, 4 brass and even a bar run by the comedian Chicandier.
From Mint Water Color Passing by Old scoundrel, The Bar of Lutetia or No Boogie Woogie, more than 18 hits from Eddy Mitchell’s repertoire but also other great French artists will punctuate this event. Thanks to the talent of Laurent Gerra, personalities such as Serge Gainsbourg, Johnny Hallyday, Yves Montand, Patrick Bruel, Céline Dion or even Prime Minister Jean Castex and many others will also participate in this exceptional evening.
The event co-produced by Alexandre Piot, Valery Zeitoun Productions and Thierry Chabrot in agreement with CWM and TS3 Fimalac Entertainment, will be held from the Théâtre du Gymnase in Paris.
“We put ideas on paper, a little scripted. We are going to tell each other our story, without being pretentious, telling each other anecdotes. There is something that binds us together: when he started, Eddy made Bécaud songs. Me, the first Olympia I did, it was just after Gilbert Bécaud, the Olympia record holder. We will share little things like that“, said Laurent Gerra, young dad, at Parisian.
