Billionaire Daniel Ek, co-founder of Spotify, showed his interest in buying the Arsenal club with the support of former players Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira, English media revealed this Monday.

Daniel Ek, CEO of the famous music platform, expressed over the weekend his interest in buying the majority package of Arsenal shares. “Since I was little I have been a fan of Arsenal. If they want to sell, I would like to give it a try”, Ek assured on his social networks.

Arsenal were among the founding clubs of the frustrated European Super League and that intention to participate in that tournament generated protests among fans, who They publicly called for the resignation of the club’s current owner, Stan Kroemke.

However, current authorities stated last week that they have “no intention” of selling the club and they promised to “treat better” their fans after what happened with the European Super League.
