“We are going to rescue Pemex”, asserted the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador after a visit to the Cadereyta refinery in Nuevo León.

In his third private work tour due to the electoral ban, the president supervised this oil complex.

“We are working together, technicians and authorities, to rescue Pemex, a company of all Mexicans”, The president wrote on his social networks along with a video of one minute and 9 seconds in length.

On his tour he is accompanied by the secretary of Energy, Rocío Nahle, and the CEO of Pemex, Octavio Romero Oropeza.

“We are in the Cadereyta refinery, Nuevo León, with workers, technicians, directors of this national company Petróleos Mexicanos, Pemex, there is Rocío Nahle the Secretary of Energy, (Octavio Romero Oropeza) the director of Pemex, Martín, manager of the refinery from Cadereyta and we just finished a work meeting”Said López Obrador.

The president of the nation arrived shortly after 11:00 hours at the parastatal for a tour and a private meeting with the directors, saccording to what transpired.
