In the Premier League, Chelsea has done a great job with a view to the top 4. In a duel with direct competitor West Ham, Timo Werner gave his team the victory.

West Ham and Chelsea had the same number of points before the start, so the winner in the city derby would do an excellent job in the battle for the Champions League tickets.

The visitors had the best chances and just before half-time Timo Werner broke the spell. The German had not scored 14 matches in a row for club or country, but he finally succeeded against West Ham, after a cross from Chilwell.

Even after the break, West Ham could hardly get Chelsea into trouble. Because the visitors also no longer scored, it kept shivering until the final whistle.

Thanks to the victory, number 4 Chelsea closes a 3-point gap over West Ham, Liverpool follows 4 points.
