The Banco de la Nación Argentina, together with the Ministries of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, and of Productive Development of the Nation, launched the $ 500 million financing line, which will reach up to 5,000 producers throughout the country.

Through the Secretariat of Family, Peasant and Indigenous Agriculture (Safci), Tucumán farmers may request up to $ 100,000, at rates subsidized by the National Bank and by the National Agroindustry Fund (Fondagro).

This loan may be used to acquire working capital, and has a subsidized rate of 21%.

However, if the venture is led by women, the rate drops to 19%.

The credit can be paid in a period of up to 36 months.

The requirements to access these credits are to be registered in the National Registry of Family Farmers (Renaf), to have monotax and not to have debts with the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP).

Tucumán farmers who are interested in taking these credits should contact Safci technicians in the territory, or contact personnel from the Renaf office of the delegation of our province, by phone (0381) 4318387 or go to Haiti 117, San Miguel de Tucumán or to the Aguilares de la Safci office.
