The leader of the PSC, Salvador Illa, has stated this Saturday that in Madrid it is being visualized, on the occasion of its elections, that “there is a fight between democracy and fascism”, and has warned that “it is not tolerable that threats and acts of violence are not condemned”.

In a statement made in Lleida after meeting with professionals from the health sector, Salvador Illa has indicated that in the Madrid elections it can be seen that “there is a debate between democracy and fascism”, and that this is reflected in the electoral acts.

“It is not tolerable – Illa has remarked – that death threats are not explicitly and energetically condemned”, both to the Minister of the Interior, as well as to the general director of the Civil Guard “and to a candidate, Pablo Iglesias, of a political formation that concurs to the elections “.

The PSC leader wanted to make it clear that “in this fight between democracy and fascism, we have to be on the side of democracy.”
