The Buenos Aires Minister of Security, Sergio Berni, regretted this Saturday the death of his pair of National Transport, Mario Meoni, and said that the first hypotheses indicate that the accident was due to what is known as aquaplaning.

“Everything indicates that it was an accident due to accumulation of water on the route,” explained the official.

Speaking to Radio Miter, the minister explained that this phenomenon occurs when a vehicle crosses a surface covered with water, which causes it to “have no grip and lose its trajectory.”

However, he clarified that “nothing can be ruled out yet.”
