This Friday the UEFA made official the change of venue for some of the matches of the next European Championship, which has meant that Dublin and Bilbao fall off the list. The matches scheduled for the Basque fiefdom will finally be played at La Cartuja in Seville. But, What about the tickets?
In recent weeks and while the possibility of transferring meetings was being considered, the highest European football organization maintained the position that those spectators who already had tickets for Bilbao could keep them, however, after the official announcement, it has not been so.
“Tickets for matches in Bilbao and Dublin will be canceled. All existing ticket buyers who have tickets to matches in those two cities will receive a full refund for the nominal value of their tickets canceled “, reported UEFA, which has generated discomfort in those fans who did not care to travel to one city or another of the Spanish geography.
UEFA has been saying for months that those of us who had a ticket to the European Championship could keep it in the event of a change of venue.
Now they cancel all of them, although they say that we will have priority in the purchase of new tickets.
I don’t understand anything ?♂️

However, what UEFA does guarantee is that spectators with tickets for canceled venues will have priority at the time of acquiring, if they wish, the tickets for the new locations.
The Spanish team will play in La Cartuja against Sweden on June 14, against Poland on June 19 and Slovakia on June 23.
