Evan Fournier viciously pranks Celtics fans by telling them to Google his last name

Fournier, who was reportedly traded from the Magic to the Celtics on Thursday, had a . . . curious way of introducing himself to Boston fans. The veteran shooting guard tweeted a seemingly innocuous message, telling Celtics supporters to Google his last name.

For those not in the know, Fournier shares a name with a horrific type of gangrene. From rarediseases.com:

“Fournier gangrene is an acute necrotic infection of the scrotum; penis; or perineum. It is characterized by scrotum pain and redness with rapid progression to gangrene and sloughing of tissue.”

That’s some introduction, Fournier. Way to become a Boston fan favorite on your first day!

Fournier seems to have wavered over the years between telling people the dangers of looking up his last name and tricking them into typing the terrible search term.
